The wine is made as a collaboration with the iconic Athenaïs de Béru. Gamay is sourced from the granitic soils in Brouilly and vinified using whole clusters. After fermentation sugars are finished in old Burgundy barrels where the wine ages for up to 16 months. This results in a fragrant and powerful Gamay lending to dried blueberry, lavender and rosemary notes on the nose. The palate is elegant and long with aromas of scrubbed herbs and violets. Beautiful length and complexity.
