The iconic Alpine estate Domaine de Belluard has entered a new chapter under the name 'Domaine du Gringet.' Vincent Ruiz, who previously worked with the talented Frank Balthazar, now leads the winemaking and is a key force behind the estate's fresh direction. While honoring the legacy of Dominique Belluard, the team has introduced thoughtful refinements to further elevate the indigenous Alpine grape, Gringet, and highlight the distinct character of each unique parcel. 'La Bergerie' is a perfect introduction to their work, offering notes of green apple, acacia, rice water, almond, and scrubbed herbs. It displays beautiful energy and length. Already drinking well, but can be cellared for a long time.
