An interesting take on Portuguese reds from this family project in the Dão. Historically the wines from this regions were extracted and deep lacking of energy and finesse. Since the 90s, João Tavares de Pina has always been interested in organic farming and in embracing the primary flavours that this terroir can create, whilst embracing acidity and freshness. 'Tretas' is an energetic red with tones of sour cherry, orange zest and crunchy blackcurrant fruit. This is super light with mouthwatering acidity, can be served chilled or slightly cooled.
